Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, your guide will warmly welcome you to the Kingdom of Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic drive through beautiful mountain landscapes and river valleys as you make your way to Thimphu, the capital city. After checking in, visit the Bhutan Postal Museum, where you can create personalized Bhutanese postage stamps featuring your favorite couple photos—a unique and memorable keepsake of your romantic journey together. Later, visit the magnificent Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery that serves as the seat of Bhutan's government and monastic body. Day 2 Traditional Bhutanese Wedding & Romantic Experiences Elevation: Thimphu - 2334m/7656 ft
Begin the day with a memorable Traditional Bhutanese Wedding Ceremony at Buddha Dordenma, one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks overlooking the Thimphu Valley. Dressed in traditional Bhutanese attire, couples will take part in sacred rituals including a Lhabsang purification ceremony, butter lamp offerings, and the exchange of Khadar (ceremonial scarves), symbolizing blessings, harmony, and everlasting love. Following the ceremony, enjoy a scenic hike to Wangditse, where you can celebrate your love amidst peaceful pine forests, fresh mountain air, and stunning views of the valley below. The tranquil surroundings provide the perfect setting for special moments together. After breakfast, depart Thimphu and drive towards the beautiful Paro Valley, surrounded by lush forests, traditional farmhouses, and scenic mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum of Bhutan), home to a fascinating collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and cultural treasures that offer insight into the kingdom's rich heritage. Continue to the magnificent Paro Rinpung Dzong, one of Bhutan's finest examples of traditional architecture. Overlooking the Paro Valley, this historic fortress-monastery is renowned for its intricate woodwork, beautiful courtyards, and spiritual significance. Later, enjoy a romantic riverside lunch beside the crystal-clear Paro Chhu River, where you can relax together amidst the peaceful sounds of flowing water and the beauty of nature. Day 4 Tiger's Nest Hike – The Highlight of Your Journey Elevation: Tigers Nest – 3120m/1040 ft
Distance: 12 km( Round Trip) | Travel Time: approx. 5-6 hrs
Today, embark on the unforgettable hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan's most iconic and sacred landmark. Dramatically perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley, the monastery is believed to be the site where Guru Rinpoche flew on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave during the 8th century, bringing Buddhism to Bhutan. The hike covers approximately 12 km (round trip) and takes about 4–6 hours, depending on your pace and fitness level. The trail winds through beautiful pine forests adorned with colorful prayer flags and offers spectacular views of the valley below. Reaching the monastery is a rewarding experience, combining breathtaking scenery with deep spiritual significance. After descending from the monastery, return to Paro and spend a relaxing evening at a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse.
